Gunnarsdottir, the most senior MFA 
official available, who will inform the Minister of the reftel 
demarche.  Gunnarsdottir regretted Greece's 
rejection of Negotiator Nimetz's proposal and appreciated hearing 
U.S. views on the way forward at 
Bucharest later this week.  She will get back to us with a response 
ASAP.
